hecklr Episode 8 - Special Guest Kate Hawes

Here it is, for goodness’ sake: Episode 8, with very special guest Kate Hawes (pictured on the right)! Episode 7 was a Royal Wedding special but due to a combination of 1)eating lots of pringles, which messed up the sound and 2) talking about things I can’t mention for about ten minutes. If I ever get really desperate, I might post it, but don’t hold your breath.

We talk an awful lot of rubbish in this episode as well, and though I was ruthless in my editing, I probably didn’t manage to cut out all the offensive material, and the rest of the stuff was a little disjointed. We try to discuss:

  1. What does Scott Wilson look for in a woman?
  2. What did the cow say when he crossed the road?
  3. What was the best thing before sliced bread
  4. AV?
  5. If fruits had personalities, what would they be? (eg. banana - jovial, or introspective)
  6. Do you think Charles will take the throne?
  7. Should Marajuana be legalised?
  8. Is being vegetarian good?

Episode 7 has been recorded. Editing is in progress. Thank you for your patience.

hecklr Episode 6 - Luke leaves early

Luke returns for his second episode, though he has to leave early (as suggested by the title). In this episode, we talk about:

  • Scott’s shampoo
  • What if there were no hypothetical questions?
  • Public transport
  • Being run over by a reversing car
  • King Lear
  • Airport security.

We also mentioned a couple of sites during the course of the show: Simple Desktops, and the Gunbrella.

hecklr Episode 5 - Special Guest Luke Meyrick

Another special guest, this time magician and artist Luke Meyrick! This was recorded on the 1st of April, but it’s a late release since I spent all last weekend doing Chemistry coursework. On this episode, we discuss:

  • Scott’s dream date.
  • Big Society: Balls?
  • Crysis 2.
  • Lesser evil in the current government?
  • Hunting.
  • April Fools.
  • Throwing chairs through windows
  • Communism
  • Magic.

Episode 5 is…

… not here yet, unfortunately. We may not be recording a podcast this week, due to Scott and I both doing something else on Friday. I have, however, finished my Chemistry coursework, so expect it out sometime this week.

Podcast has been recorded…

…but it may not be released until later in the week. I have chemistry coursework to finish over the weekend, so it should be out Monday. When it’ll appear in the iTunes feed is anyone’s guess. [A]

Thank goodness!

It actually worked the last time, would you accredit it? Episode 4 now on iTunes! We’ve got another guest for the next episode - friend of the show Luke Meyrick. From what we’ve heard, listeners enjoyed our having Nick on - he’s now sunning himself in America - so we’re going to try having guests on as much as possible. For this Friday’s episode though, we need questions!  You could Twitter us - @hecklrpodcast, email us - podcast@hecklr.co.uk, become a fan of ours on Facebook, or perhaps even Formspring us - formspring.me/hecklr. Or just comment on our Facebook posts if you’re friends of ours. Which you probably are.

hecklr Episode 4 - Special Guest Nick Smith

Sorry everybody. This is the last try. If this fails, well, one episode will have to be missing from iTunes.

again, apologies to those of you subscribing normally - Feedburner’s messing me around with its media enclosures.

hecklr Episode 4 - Special Guest Nick Smith!

As you can probably deduce from the title and picture, we’ve got a special guest this episode, and his name’s Nick Smith! You may recognise him from the first episode, where he was kind of indistinct because the mic didn’t pick him up. Anyway, he brings a chirpy dynamism and a little more disagreement to the podcast, which is wonderful. We discuss:

  • Why doesn’t PVA glue stick to the inside of the bottle?
  • If you were in complete control of the country, what would you do?
  • What are the moral/ethical issues with forcing prisoners to work?
  • Tea!
  • If you could heckl one person, who would it be and why?
  • Was there a conspiracy behind 9/11
  • Scott’s dream date?
  • Should we use nuclear power?
  • What would your survival plan be in the even of a zombie apocalypse?
